The Deutsche Bank Championship: August 31st - Sept. 6th, 2010

The Deutsche Bank Championship is New England’s premier PGA TOUR event, held over Labor Day weekend at the TPC Boston in Norton, Mass. Since its inception, the Deutsche Bank Championship has raised nearly $17 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation and New England-area charities. In 2010, the Deutsche Bank Championship will feature the top 100 PGA TOUR golfers as they compete in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and for the $10 million first prize. Defending champion Steve Stricker is expected to take on the world's best, including our distinguished list of past champions - Adam Scott, Vijay Singh, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson - and many more.

J Raffle for Red Sox Foundation oin Red Sox legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Rice to take a chip shot from home plate at historic Fenway Park! Win other great prizes in this charitable raffle to benefit the Red Sox Foundation and celebrate Deutsche Bank Championship Week.

Three lucky winners will meet and mingle with Red Sox legends and special guests followed by the opportunity to take a 100-yard chip shot from Fenway's home plate. A successful chip that hits the target will win the Red Sox Foundation a $50,000 donation. In addition, raffle winners also will receive special VIP Red Sox and Deutsche Bank Championship fan experiences.

Other raffle prizes include the chance to throw out a first pitch at a 2011 Red Sox game, a VIP trip for two to Red Sox Spring Training, TaylorMade golf clubs, Red Sox Green Monster tickets, passes to the MasterCard Club at the 2010 Deutsche Bank Championship and more.

Raffle tickets are $25 and proceeds support the Red Sox Foundation's award-winning charitable programs for at-risk children and wounded veterans. Tickets are on sale now. Eight lucky raffle ticket winners will be selected on Friday, August 27. The chip shot from home plate is schedule for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2010.
